NOTE: This document is based on CentOS, RedHat Linux
7.3, Enterprise and FreeBSD. The concepts should be similar across operating
systems, but the commands will very likely be different.
Also, never assume the directory structures exist in your system
as written in the document. Never blindly follow security
instructions -- read, review, compare, apply as it fits your
system.
Log into the control panel server as root.
Per Igor Seletsk: cpanel user on CP server should be able
to login without password, as root to all servers (including CP servers)
For that, if cpanel has key, simply do scp from cpanel user on CP server
to root users on all servers:
scp ~cpanel/.ssh/identity.pub
root@otherserver:~/.ssh/authorized_keys
If the key doesn't exist - regenerate it:
$ ssh-keygen -b 1024 -t rsa
(note $ - you should be cpanel user when you are doing
that) and then copy it to all other servers. Also
